Peer Support
Trained volunteer support parents, many of whom have recovered from emotional illnesses during or after pregnancy, provide information, referrals, compassion, and non-judgmental listening to other parents who have experienced a similar parenting struggle.

Pregnancy and Postpartum Depression Support Groups

Postpartum Depression Training for Professionals
WellMama provides ongoing in-service training for healthcare and social service professionals. The training help clinicians understand both basic and advanced concepts in screening, prevention, identification, and treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and postpartum depression. WellMama can tailor individualized seminars of any length to the specific requirements of each discipline or agency. Continuing education units are provided for most healthcare professionals.
