Nurse Training Thursday, April 26th: 8:00-4:30 PM

This training is open, but not limited to, nurses. 

Curriculum will include:

Perinatal Mental Health Disorders: Recognition & communication with families
Risk factors
Evidence Based Screening
Mood Disorders in partners
Treatment of Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders
Medication safety in pregnancy & breastfeeding
Pregnancy & Infant Loss
Local Resources: CAHOOTS & Trauma Healing Project

General Training: Friday, April 27th: 8:00-4:30 PM
This training is open, but not limited to doulas, midwives, providers, home visitors, social workers, community health workers, therapists, provider office staff, and anyone seeking a greater knowledge of maternal mental health!

Assessment: Recognition, communication & screening
Steps to Wellness
Psychotherapeutic Approaches
